The second half of 2024 has been bustling in NSW and ACT, fuelled by a surge of new residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The cooler months have also kept our teams on-site, supporting facility managers and contractors with remedial and renovation work as they prepare for what is forecasted to be a sweltering summer.

Our HVAC and refrigeration clients are increasingly recognising the value of Blygold treatments and of our ongoing on-site maintenance. These services not only save time and reduce costs but also ensure cleaner coils, leading to improved efficiency and extended asset life—critical for safeguarding high-value investments.

2024 has been another incredibly busy year for us with the usual mix of new AC outdoor/indoor units, refrigeration coils, heat pumps, gas boiler casings, industrial heat exchangers, and on-site treatments of in-service HVAC equipment.

Blygold WA

The final quarter of 2024 has been a very busy and intense 13 weeks with the completion of 5 x 10 tonne chillers in a row. These chillers are destined for a major gold mine and required the full treatment; coils, casings, frames, compressors, pipework and mountings, whilst still juggling our normal workload. The WA team have been outstanding, going above and beyond. Needless to say, they are looking forward to a well earned break over Xmas so we can come back in 2025 and do it all again!

End of Year Reflection: Gratitude, Challenges, and Growth

As we approach the end of the year, it’s a good time to reflect on what has been a busy and rewarding journey. This year has come with its fair share of challenges, but also plenty of growth, and we are grateful for all of it.

First, we want to thank our loyal customers for their ongoing trust and support. Your confidence in us has been key to our success, and we don’t take it for granted. This year, we saw a sharp increase in demand, with months fully booked and over 250 units scheduled for treatment at one time. These units ranged from small coils to large chillers, with projects that included everything from standard coil treatments to full treatment, including many steps and many, many man hours in between. This variety in work has been a good reminder of the wide range of services we provide and the importance of our customer relationships.

A huge thank you also goes to our dedicated team. The skill and effort shown by every member have been essential in getting through this busy period. Whether it was handling the smaller coils or working on the more complex chillers, their professionalism and hard work have kept everything moving forward. Even as the workload increased, the team remained focused on delivering quality work on time.

We also appreciate the continued support from Blygold Oceania and Blygold International. Their expertise and collaboration have helped us navigate some of the challenges we faced.

Of course, this year wasn’t without its difficulties. The increased volume of work, combined with delays in shipping and occasional damage during transit, made things a bit more complicated than expected. But we are thankful for the understanding and flexibility shown by our customers, who worked with us on adjusting timelines when needed. This willingness to adapt has made a big difference in getting through the tougher parts of the year.

Looking ahead, we are optimistic about the future. The challenges we’ve faced this year have given us valuable insights into how we can continue to improve. We’ll keep working to streamline our processes and make sure we’re providing the best possible service to all of our customers, no matter the size or scope of the project.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey this year. Your continued support means a lot to us. We’re looking forward to another year of growth, learning, and working together to take on whatever comes next.
